Book Review: Dear Reader

For as long as she can remember,  Cathy has lost and found herself in stories…

As a fellow book lover this book spoke to my soul. Cathy has a wonderful way with words and when you read her books she makes you feel like you are sitting together like old friends do chatting over a nice cup of tea about the joy of books.

This is a memoir of a life spent immersed in the comfort and joy of books. There were a few similarities to her life that I saw in my own life. I nearly ended up working at Harrods in London when I was in my 20’s but got the opportunity to move to the states instead. I did wonder for a split second if we would of met.

I’ve now become a fan of her books and I first discovered her work when my dad gifted me one of her books on writing which I will post about soon. She has helped me to look at myself through writing and I’m forever grateful for it.

This book gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s from me and inspiration to write about my own love affair with books. I couldn’t put it down. I also got the audio version so I could listen in the car and compare my own book adventures. I remember where and what was going on with my life with every book in my library. 😍

Happy Friday fellow book lovers, I wish you a wonderful day of everything you love!
