This 2nd book in an ongoing series is just as fast paced as the 1st book. This time it’s filled with non stop action, a love triangle and once again the Russian Mafia!
Finley Donovan is back struggling to finish her next novel while keeping her head above water as a single mother of two. On the plus side, Finlay has her live-in nanny and confidant Vero to rely on.
When the duo learn that someone has put a hit out on Finlay’s ex-husband, Stephen. Finlay and Vero attempt to save her ex-husband’s life by embarking on an adventure that once again features the love triangle of lawyer-in-training Julian and the hot cop Nick who Finlay tries (and fails) to keep at arm’s length.
I am obsessed with all these characters! Finlay and Vero’s ultra smart banters had me laughing out loud. The whirlwind action packed plot with the surprising, WTH cliffhangers continue to fuel my addiction to this series!
This is another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me and I’m onto book 3! 🥳
